Gonzalo Perez Castro

WESLACO - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gonzalo Perez Castro, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who left this world on November 26, 2025. Born on January 10, 1953, Gonzalo lived a life defined by humility, love, and devotion to his family.Gonzalo was a loving father to his children, and his legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.

 He was a man who relished spending time with his family, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. As a caring brother and uncle, Gonzalo leaves behind a rich tapestry of connections that spanned generations.

Gonzalo is preceded in death by his parents Manuel Perez and Cleotilde Castro and brothers Meliton Perez and Norberto Perez.

Gonzalo is survived by his loving children Jose Juan Perez, Manuel Perez, Jennifer (Gonzalo Juarez) Perez, Diana (Luis) Torres Perez, Italy (Joel Torres)  Perez and Ismael Perez, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Francisca Perez, Gloria Ramirez, Maria Perez and Juan Antonio Perez.

Family and Friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch.

 A chapel service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes.

Gonzalo will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
