Gilberto is survived by his daughter, Melissa Ortiz; parents, Gilberto and Esther Rivera; 2 stepgrandchildren; brother, Antonio Rivera; sister, Silvia Gonzalez.
Viewing for Gilberto Rivera, Jr. will be Monday, February 5, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 5:30 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes.
