Mr. Garza is survived by his wife, Guadalupe Flores Garza;
his sons: Willie Garza, Gilbert Garza, Rey Garza, Freddy Garza, Andy Garza and Ismael Garza; and
his daughters: Hilda Chabolla, Nancy Johnson, Alma Ridgeway and Vannesa Rodriguez.
Gilberto is also survived by his grandchildren: Christopher Chabolla, Gabriel Garza, Jeremy Garza, Michael Sparks, Kevin Garza, Marco Garza, Julio Garza, Patrick Garza, Michelle Lindsey, Savannah Johnson, Brittney Ridgeway, Joshua Rodriguez and Jacob Rodriguez.

Services
Cremation services will be on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Valverde Memorial Gardens in Donna, Texas.
A memorial ceremony will be celebrated at 9:30 am Sunday, February 14, at Dolphin Cove at South Padre Island with a release of cremated remains at 10:30 a.m. by his loving wife, Mrs. Guadalupe F. Garza.
