Dallas/Edcouch - Francisco Martinez, Jr., 57, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016 in Dallas. He was born September 20, 1959 to Francisco & Beatriz Martinez in Edcouch.
Francisco is survived by his wife, Irma Martinez; sons, Frank Martinez, III and Rolando Martinez; daughter, Roxanne (Alvaro) Hernandez; and grandchildren, Mathew, Brianna, and Isaac Hernandez. He is also survived by his mother, Beatriz Martinez; brothers, Reynaldo Martinez, David Martinez, and Ricky Martinez; sisters, Margarita Moreno, Juanita Garcia, Rosalinda Martinez, Beatriz Martinez, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father; Francisco Martinez, Sr.; brother, Juan Manuel Martinez; grandmother, Benigna Martinez; and aunt, Herlinda Sandoval.
Viewing will be held Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Friday, November 18, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresita Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
