LA VILLA – Eva R. Perez, 70, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 at La Hacienda in Harlingen. She was born August 1, 1946 to Severiano & Epifania Ruiz in Pharr.
Eva is survived by her son, Ricardo (Veronica) Perez, daughters, Margaret (Jose) Saenz, Ester (Ariel) Cortez, and Eva (Macario) Perez; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Also surviving her are brothers, Abel (Rosa) Ruiz, Rudolph Ruiz, Adolph (Sam) Ruiz, Ernest (Rose Marie) Ruiz, Rudy Ruiz; sisters, Angie Martinez, Olga (Fred) Gonzalez, Maria Ruiz Riojas, and Alicia Ruiz; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eusebio G. Perez.
Viewing will be held Saturday, December 24, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Monday, December 26, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Church Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Iglesia Rosa de Saron in La Villa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
