La Villa - Eva M. Contreras, 59, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Solara Hospital in Harlingen. Eva was born March 5, 1961 to Bernardino and Felicitas Flores in Edinburg, TX. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Arnulfo V. Contreras; her sons, Arnulfo (Mayra) Contreras, Jr., and Dominique (Amaranta) Contreras; daughter, Felicitas Dee (Abel) Nicasio; and eight grandchildren. Eva is also survived by her brothers, Guadalupe Flores, Noe Flores, and Bernardino Flores, Jr., and sisters, Maria Elena Escobar and Irma Flores. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Adan Flores.
Viewing will be Monday, March 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for family, and 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for the public with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Villa. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
