Edcouch- Estevan Rivera, 72, passed away Monday, September 12, 2016 at his residence in Edcouch. He was born January 11, 1944 to Victor & Gregoria Rivera in Méndez, Tamps., MX.
Estevan is survived by his step-son, Joaquin (Sonia) Aguirre; step-daughter, Josie Aguirre; daughters, Ofelia Rivera (Fidencio III) Salazar, Cristina (Omar Casas) Rivera, Lucero Rivera and Elizabeth Rivera. Also surviving him are brothers, Daniel Rivera, Donicio Rivera, Reymundo Rivera; sisters, Emma Rivera, Angelita Rivera, Elida Rivera and Mariana Rivera; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. with a Chapel Service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
