WESLACO – Erasmo Mendoza, Sr., 62, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born June 2, 1955 to Ausencio & Amalia Mendoza in Mexico.
Erasmo is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Rosa Gloria Mendoza; sons, Erasmo, Jr. (Claudia) Mendoza, Richardo Mendoza, Oscar Mendoza, and Hector (Frances) Mendoza; 13 grandchildren; father; brothers, Juan (Teresa) Mendoza, Geronimo Mendoza, Norberto (Graciela) Mendoza, Pedro Mendoza, Ernesto (Nancy) Mendoza, and Gerardo (Luanna) Mendoza; and sisters, Olga (Raul) Castro, Aurelio (Roberto Carrasco) Mendoza, and Blanca (Jaime) Salinas.
Viewing will be held Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, December 15, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service both days at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. with a Chapel Service at 11:00 a.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
