MERCEDES – Elva Elena Veloz, 79, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Mid-Valley Nursing & Rehab in Mercedes. She was born November 8, 1937 to Alejandro & Odilia Ayala in MX.
Elva is survived by her sons, Urbano Veloz, David Veloz, Juan Veloz, Mauricio Veloz, and Edgar Veloz; daughters, Maria de los Angeles Veloz, and Elsa Veloz. Also surviving her are 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Alejandro Ayala and Joaquin Ayala; and sister, Odilia Ayala. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jose Veloz Rocha.
Viewing will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. A Chapel Service will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will follow at a later date.
