Elizabeth Lee Flores

MERCEDES - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Lee Flores, who departed this life on April 20, 2026, at the age of 45. Elizabeth was born on August 27, 1980 in Oregon.

Elizabeth spent her life with warmth and humor, always ready to share a joke and bring laughter to those around her. Her passion for watching novelas and listening to Spanish music reflected her vibrant personality and love for her culture. Elizabeth's strength and determination shone brightly, inspiring all who had the privilege to know her.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents Maria Flores and Mathias Villanueva.

She leaves behind her dear nephew, Loren Pogue, who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness as well as numerous family and friends who all loved her.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, April 24, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 PM at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch.Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 10:00 at St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Campacuas Memorial Cemetery in Mercedes.
