Elsa/Forest Hill, TX - Elena Cavazos, 73, passed away May 3, 2021 at Texas at Health Hospital in Bedford, TX. She was born November 24, 1947 to Bonefacio and Amada Perez in Elsa, TX. Elena is survived by her sons, Ysmael (Patricia) Ybarra, Sr., Israel Ybarra, Guadalupe (Rosa) Ybarra, Daniel (Edna) Ybarra, Agapito Cavazos, and Ramiro Cavazos; daughters, Elsa (Danny) Rodriguez, Debra Ybarra, and Delia Cavazos. Elena is preceded in death by her parents, Bonefacio and Amada Perez; sister, Elisa Perez; granddaughter, Jennifer Lee Ybarra; and grandson, Michael Angelo Ybarra.
Viewing will be Monday, May 10, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 8:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch. Cardoza Funeral Home of Edcouch is in charge of funeral arrangements.
