LA BLANCA – Darwin Gallegos, Sr., 57, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. He was born July 27, 1959 to Pedro & America del Carmen Gallegos in Macuspana, Tabasco, MX.
Darwin is survived by his wife, Maria Guadalupe Gallegos; sons, Darwin Gallegos, Jr., William (Christina) Gallegos, and Walter (Veronica) Gallegos; daughter, America (Jose Adan) Gallegos; and 8 grandchildren. Also surviving him is his father; brothers, Arturo Gallegos, and Pedro Gallegos; and sister, Rosa Gallegos. He is preceded in death by his mother.
Viewing will be held Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, December 9, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresita Catholic Church in Edcouch. Cremation will follow at a later date.
