Claudia Esmeralda Colunga, 27, died Sunday, July 12, 2015, in an automobile accident north of Weslaco.
Esmeralda was born in Dallas, Texas to Bernarda Colunga. She is survived by her mother, sons, Efrain Gonzalez, Jr. and Andre Raymond Gonzalez, and her daughter, Heylend Evylend Colunga. She is also survived by her brothers, Eduardo (Elizabeth) Colunga and Jose Mauricio Minero and sister, Jessica Colunga.
Viewing will be Tuesday, July 14, 2015, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. at CARDOZA Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, July 15, at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
