Bernarda Colunga

Weslaco - Bernarda Colunga, 57, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at her residence in Weslaco, TX. She was born February 7, 1964 to Crescencio and Juventina Benitez Colunga in Mexico. She is survived by her sons, Eduardo (Elizabeth) Colunga, Jose Minero Mauricio; daughter, Llesica (Oscar) Colunga; 13 grandchildren; her mother, Juventina Benitez Colunga; brothers, Benito Colunga, Teodolo Colunga, Roberto Colunga, and Julio Colunga; sisters,  Elodegaria R. Benitez, Maria Colunga, Guadalupe Colunga and Anita Colunga. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Claudia Esmeralda Colunga; and father, Crescencio Colunga.

Visitation will be Friday, July 23, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Graveside service was held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch, TX.
