Edcouch- Armando Gonzalez, 73, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015. He was born January 26, 1942 in Edcouch, TX. Armando is survived by his wife, Yolanda Gonzalez; daughters, Dalia (Ruben) Hernandez, Nelda (Israel) Rodriguez, Anna Gonzalez (Matt Garza), Lynda (David) Valdez, Lydia Gonzalez (Ed Torres) and Lorie Gonzalez (Elio Garcia); parents, Gilbert and Ambrosia Montalvo; brothers, Roy & Hector Montalvo; sisters, Olga Gonzalez, Dolores Gonzalez, Ninfa De La Garza, Elva Silva and Yolanda Herrald; also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Viewing for Mr. Gonzalez will be held today, Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. Burial will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna
