Apolinar “Polo” Delgado, Jr, 73, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, in Spring, TX. Polo is preceded in death by his wife, Rosie Delgado; his parents Apolinar Sr. and Isabel Delgado; his siblings Amado Jorge Delgado, Arturo Delgado, Sr., Amelia Delgado-Duarte, and Carmela Amador.

He is survived by his sister Abeldia Monroy; his children Armando Delgado, Jaime Delgado, James Medellin, Sonia Delgado, and Alexis Delgado-Mize; his grandchildren Amanda, Isaac, Anna Lisa, Rebecca, Isaiah, Diego, Daphne, Samantha, Emily, Merida, and grand dog Sophie.

Viewing will be held Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing will continue Monday, January 10, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. and Interment will follow at 9:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco. Cardoza Funeral Home in Edcouch is in charge of funeral arrangements.
