MERCEDES- Antonio Tijerina, 52, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. He was born October 7, 1967 to Antonio and Ramona Cortez in Mexico.
Antonio is survived by his wife, Elsa Edith Lopez; sons, Antonio (Selena) Tijerina; daughter, Isabel (Eric) Tijerina; 3 grandchildren, Jessica Hope Tijerina, Jesus Leyva Tijerina, Hennessy Coronado, and Sora Diaz; mother, Ramona Tijerina; brother, Gabriel (Maria) Tijerina; sister, Marilu (Gabriel) Ramirez; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Antonio Tijerina.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.
Viewing will continue Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. with a Chapel Service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
