Antonio Montelongo

ELSA – Antonio F. Montelongo, 69, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019 at his residence in Elsa. He was born July 5, 1949 to Guadalupe and Rosalia F. Montelongo in Edcouch.

Antonio is survived by his wife, Anita Y. Montelongo; sons, Antonio (Sandra) Montelongo, Jr. and Rodney (Patricia) Montelongo; daughters, Veronica M. (Osvaldo) Garza and Alicia M. (Alfredo, Jr.) Garcia; grandchildren; Leelu Leandra Garza, Nathan Gonzalez, Rodney Eric Castillo, Eva Joline Montelongo, Audrey Janelle Montelongo, Marc Anthony Montelongo, Cassandra Soza Montelongo, Ian Paz Montelongo, and Ilias Rey Montelongo; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He is preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother and 1 sister.

Viewing will be held Monday, February 25, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing will continue Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Cardoza Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
