WESLACO – Amy Hernandez, 49, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at South Texas ER in Weslaco. She was born November 4, 1968 to Guadalupe & Olga Hernandez in Mercedes.
She is survived by her parents; brothers, Guadalupe Hernandez, Jr., Abel Hernandez, Noe Hernandez, and Jorge Hernandez; sisters, Viola Almaguer and Alminta Cadena; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Viewing will be held Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will continue Monday, November 27, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. Cremation will follow at a later date.
